My wife was at this gig. She messaged me immediately afterwards to tell me about Zack's appearance. "Such a great moment. The crowd absolutely loved it."
"This energy!!!" 👏👏👏👏

Radio started it in 1897. Podcasts are carrying it forward.

At the Prison Radio Association, we’ve evolved from radio waves to podcast streams, giving people a voice as they rebuild life inside prison and after release.

From airwaves to audio streams, radio’s legacy continues to change lives 💫

When Mina, a refugee from Afghanistan, started her degree in London, she soon realised she had nowhere to live over the summer break.

We were able to match her with one of our hosts, making sure she could focus on completing her course.

Hegseth announces Pentagon task force to remove the beard from all the paintings and statues of Robert E Lee that they plan to put up.
Hegseth: "We don't need to be a military of beardos anymore. Do you know how many troops claim to be Nordic Pagan? No, suddenly it's become this real fake religious affiliation inside the Pentagon where troops came to be Nordic Pagan so they can grow a beard and nobody challenges them on it."

As I rapidly approach my 60th Birthday I am increasingly enraged by being called a 'kid' by folks that are younger than me because I support policies which threaten their unquestioned lives of privilege. Thomson is only 2 years younger than me, but she has had a much narrower life.

There was a batshit discussion on immigration on Today this morning, masquerading as a conversation on social cohesion, where Gove sought to justify his racism with the tiresome argument that migrants haven't 'paid in' to the system from "the cradle" like people born in Britain have.

There was an Army recruitment TV ad years ago which starts with someone in a car with a driving instructor and the car becomes a military vehicle of some sort and the driver is told to drive off-road through a forest in the dark with the headlights off. It would def make driving tests more exciting.
This is the sort of small but meaningful thing that helps to tackle a major frustration for one group of people inability to do something as basic as book a driving test furthers their feeling Britain is broken. Sort of thing govt should be leading with not infighting.

The BBC appears to be in an abusive relationship with Reform in which the BBC is desperate to be loved and showers Reform with attention and devotion, which Reform gladly accepts before turning on the BBC and clobbering them.

Lather, rinse, repeat.
Reform UK has said it will no longer co-operate with a BBC documentary about the party, due to air in January, following controversy over the Trump Panorama edits www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Unlike the fantasy politics of the 'grown-up' right wing - a low-tax, low-wage, isolationist, ethnically-cleansed, environmentally polluted monoculture in which the market has magically solved all problems for people with money (who are the only ones that matter) - which totes makes sense.
And today it's the turn of The Times to try and patronise us all.

Every single day the right wing establishment tries to close ranks.

And every day we are growing.

I think that every Bond film from now on should see Bond killed at the end. Then, for the next movie, even if the Bond character is played by the same actor, there is no mention of his death in the previous movie, and he dies at the end of that movie, too.

Completely beyond why people try to defend Labour record on treatment of asylum seekers. They are awful.
They have done terrible things the Tories never even thought of, like denying any refugee who came here through irregular means from EVER becoming a citizen & ENDING FAMILY REUNIFICATION. demons.

Dear GOD if you want to save money in the asylum system

1. LET ASYLUM SEEKERS WORK

2. FAST TRACK STATUS FOR EVERYONE FROM CLEARLY UNDAFE COUNTRIES like Sudan, Syria, etc

3. Run an asylum accommodation system that is NOT FOR PROFIT #r4today
