This is a really important one! American interference needs looked at too.
So frustrated today to see so many people (and news articles) refer to "SEND pupils" instead of "pupils with SEND". SEND is not a diagnosis. It isn't the time for identity first language because the umbrella is MASSIVE! A lot of kids with SEND really do not identify with that label.

If you have ADHD and have trouble getting to sleep, try drinking a stimulant like coffee before bed.
The idea is you stimulate the brain out of deficit, so instead of it trying to manufacture dopamine, it can rest.

I took stimulants, drank a coffee, and had an energy drink so now it's time to pass out because ADHD is A TRIP.

one reason I don’t think teachers can be replaced by AI videos & quizzes is so much of teaching is inherently social
sometimes you’ll say something to a student one-on-one & it’ll literally be the exact thing you told the class, the exact words, but it doesn’t click until you say it to them alone

SO was watching a travel vlog where the vlogger "challenged" himself to make a certain journey via a certain route. It took him 4.5 hours and he thought that was fast.
The whole time I was like, "Mate. It is 2 trains and will take an hour and a half tops." Even keeping in the rules he set up. 🤨🙄

British edition: my non alcoholic mulled cider recipe for if you’re serving mulled wine, for whoever wants it.
Big stock pot. Two litres pressed apple juice, 2 L cranberry juice, 500 mL lemon squash. Put about 30 allspice berries, 30 whole cloves in a loose leaf tea bag.

I do not drink because I have almost no tolerance for it anymore (one margarita is too much).
