Also how I approach my writing now, and it’s better for it. When I make time for it which Hoo boy. Not this year.
I think most artists hit a point where they’re like, well if I can’t be the best artist, I shall be the most ME artist.

Return the Black Hills to native people. Other places would also be good, don’t get me wrong, but there is so much mineral wealth in the Black Hills that deserves infinitely better stewardship and isn’t gonna get it as long as mining companies can just walk onto public land.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

I’d say it’s more like we have too damned many people who are stupid about guns, which is a major failing in how we treat weapons as a culture. I don’t think any of the democrats’ policies on guns generally are very good (one of my biggest friction points w/ my reps) but I agree where we are is bad.

As the Senate tries to defend a million dollar payday to 8 of their own - and as the House GOP tries to explain why they refused to amend the CR to strip it out, let's review exactly what it is they want restitution for. Brief thread:

5. Third, it should need to be said, but let's dismiss the criticism that these were all Republicans. The participants in a partisan attack on democracy had a partisan skew. That's surprising in the same way it's surprising to find beef in a Brazilian steakhouse.

Lots of folks captioning aurora photos like "for a few minutes we didn't think about politics"

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation

Colored sketch commission for Wolfbyt on Furaffinity of their cheetah character Henry Arunta

This was quite an unusual commission for me, as modern stuff is quite out of my comfort zone. Still, a really fun one nonetheless! :D

I hope dwarf fortress never truly changes. Sure, I want it to be a little easier to use the menus, but I never want it's core janky, emergent, systems driven insanity to change.

Because it is a masterpiece of software and storytelling.

Hanging up the tent and its ground cloth to get them cleaned up a bit, now that the canvas has made it back from where I dropped it in New York.

I think this is. 15’x10’ or so. Usable space is less because you can see how relatively short the ridge pole is, maybe 4, so there’s a lot of sloping.

I have this disc somewhere. I never got far in the game but it was such a neat idea, especially at the time, that it has always stuck with me.

Also I don’t know how I feel about games of my teenage years being retro, but I can’t argue they aren’t.

Troika Games' first game, one of three they'd develop in their short life, taking the narrative freedom of Fallout 1 & 2 and applying it to a world steeped in magic and industry.

Far too many people claim “I’m demanding accountability” when all they they are doing is beating people down and crying “accountability” so they can feel righteous doing it. They do not understand the issues, they just know if they use the word they can feel good while being abusive.
“Cons routinely claim harassment when they’re receiving accountability” OR people who volunteer their time to help the community are being harassed to the point of a mental break because the general mass act like piranhas when actual bureaucratic steps for change don’t happen overnight.

Costco Ryan is clearly a priest of the god of logistics.
In just one solitary hour, Costco Ryan *single-handedly* put together an order that filled almost everything we needed

When the initial bill only came out to like ~$9K, he added more to ensure we had everything maximized.

This allows Trump (via DOJ) to use taxpayer money to bribe eight GOP Senators. It's that simple, there's no other way to describe it.

And where's the compensation for people injured by the Trump admin's unlawful conduct through DHS & DOGE?

Take a bow, @schumer.senate.gov, you did this.
