I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

It's time to actually sincere-post about #AGDQ2026
This was my first in-person event since AGDQ24; I've kinda stepped back from speedrunning stuff over the past few years. Mostly life getting in the way, but some of it was losing my love of the hobby. This event brought that back.

So many people think that government departments and other large-scale capitalist systems can somehow be transformed into something "functional" with the right work or budget or adjustment.

"We need to train ICE better" is a wild claim because it assumes those within ICE are improperly taught or otherwise floundering at their job.

there's a link in the replies but the long and short of it is: it's zinc chloride, which can basically cause heavy metal toxicity that can cause permanent respiratory damage as well as liver damage.

It goes without saying that in the US you’re not supposed to have a masked secret police that snatches people off the streets without knowing if they’ve committed a crime. That’s about as basic a requirement for a democracy as exists.
Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.
