It is very funny that this Pope is just going to get jerseys from now on. Everyone decided that's what this Pope likes and that is it. It's like if your grandmother got you a puzzle for Christmas one year and you said you liked it so your entire extended family is like "oh that's the puzzle kid"
Spike Lee just blessed Pope Leo with a custom Knicks jersey during his visit to the Vatican, just one week after the Pope was gifted a custom Chicago Bulls one.

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

Wolfenstein has sounded fun lately..., so I bought the most recent one. i'm playing the intro and my abusive dad is forcing me to kill my dog, and until i click the right button its just cycling dad's dialog over and over

so i quit and refunded the game

If you've ever asked "What the hell is a weight?" (in the context of machine learning, how the hell would i know why else you would ask that question), I have a blog post for you!

You Can't Unbake a Cake (or Why Data Isolation in the Age of AI is BASICALLY Impossible)
Legislators across the globe want your data removed from AI models. The EU's "right to be forgotten" under GDPR Article 17, California's CCPA, a dozen other privacy frameworks—all built on the assumpt...

I gotta give it up to the writers tho. If NYC elects a Muslim mayor on the day Dick Cheney died, that is one hell of a slow played story arc. Every time you want to fire 2025's writers room they give you a little narrative resolution as a treat.

yet another dark day
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
