Fortunately, the one thing we know is that Raytheon and other villains would never just pretend to care about things. That's good, because otherwise a bunch of centrist dullards would be constantly lulled into inaction or otherwise manipulated by the insultingly transparent lies of bad actors.
Woke Raytheon is much better than unwoke Raytheon because one shows a company that feels an obligation towards society (even if cynical) in a way the other does not. Signaled virtue is still better than vice of any type.

When I was under 1, my dad was arrested in the UK. As was the standard procedure, he had the beating of his life and was left on a cell floor to reflect on the errors of his ways. He got 3 years in a max security jail. One of the men arrested with him died on hunger strike.
