Pokemon is well-known for false choices in their dialogue- but in Scarlet/Violet a character asks you if you want to be "Rivals for life" and if you keep saying "No" she keeps asking more and more aggressively until she's just yelling "YOU. ME. RIVALS. YES?". It always gets me for some reason.
Ok team — funniest -interactive- moments and jokes in games? Not cutscene based, prompted either by gameplay interaction or a choice

Examples:
- Portal 2’s asking you to press space to speak to confirm you don’t have brain damage, and jumping instead
- Baldur’s Gate 3 Volo Eye extraction

Among indigenous tradition, liberation theology for catholic and Protestant, this was common in the Guerrilla Army of the Poor:

Freedom, or we die struggling.
From a statement from faith leaders at Broadview this morning:

"God does not bless cages. God does not sanction abductions. God demands freedom."

A revolution is not a dinner party, or writing an essay, or painting a picture, or doing embroidery; it cannot be so refined, so leisurely and gentle, so temperate, kind, courteous, restrained and magnanimous. A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another.

This is pure poetry in a way that should be written in stone. A man staking his faith on opposing a corrupt, fascist regime and standing up for the oppressed. This is heroism.
From this minister's op-ed: "People wanting to experience God are more likely to meet the Divine trying to shut down the Broadview, Illinois, ICE facility than we ever were in church...God does not live in our houses of worship, but...with those who are bearing the brunt of cruelty in this moment."
Oh wow @reuters.com got the photo here:

What I love best about living in 2025 is that while people keep doing this shit, we at least have words to describe it now. This is "building the Torment Nexus", which is a frankly excellent turn of phrase.
This is a real flight school, teaching people to fly planes!!! Like????

An 8% increase on millionaires' taxes would be enough to eliminate 90% of food insecurity in Pennsylvania. Wealth taxes aren't just a good idea, they're a moral imperative.
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Tax the rich. Greg Ryan in @bloomberg.com:
Millionaire Tax That Inspired Mamdani Fuels $5.7 Billion Haul in Massachusetts
A millionaire levy in Massachusetts that New York City mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani holds up as a model for taxing the rich has generated $3 billion more in revenue than expected without forcing...

photos posted to show how hard trump worked over the weekend included a picture of his desk littered with color printouts of his truth social posts

separately, he wasn't even in DC over the weekend, he was in florida

they lie so badly it'd be comical, if they weren't ruining everyone's lives here

The Tiffany problem stays winning.
I’m sorry I just found out that in 1379, as in, 650 years ago, a baby girl was born in Yorkshire and named Diot Coke

history is a fucking joke lmao

It is important to understand why this is being done. It isn't just about trying to control the narrative of who is "good" and who isn't. This is about being able to bring federal charges against political detractors- or really anyone- that the Trump Admin wants disappeared.
My NSPM-7 coverage has for weeks been met with smug assurances that there's no law for domestic terrorism. Well, the Trump admin just designated Antifa groups as Foreign Terror Orgs - for which there is a law:

Move cites NSPM-7, saying four European Antifa groups espoused "anti-Christianity," "anti-capitalism," and "anti-Americanism"

"What if one of YOUR favorite politicians/celebrities/etc is on the list?" Did you all not notice how quickly we dropped Neil Gaiman when we found out about the things he did? Do you know how beloved that guy used to be and how loathed he is now? I think that right there should answer your question.

you could fact check this — there aren’t 30 million illegal immigrants and there is no evidence that the presence of an immigrant in say houston has any impact on housing in madison, wisconsin — or you could note straightforwardly that this is just nazi rhetoric
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

I don't think it gets mentioned enough that Bovino is a member of the civil service. He is not a political appointee. Yet he still engages in constant open partisanship while in uniform and with a DHS flag behind him.
Bovino: "Whether they were criminals or individuals that were taking jobs from Americans -- you name it, that's what they were doing. And I'll tell you what's gonna happen. We're gonna go even harder on the streets. If he releases those 650, we're gonna apprehend 1,650 on the streets of Chicago."

FIRE was also nowhere to be found when Florida passed a law compelling teachers to use the wrong pronouns for themselves in the classroom. Somehow, the concern of compelled speech disappeared there.

It's because they hate trans people and whatever hurts us, they support.
