Trump & co. insisting it's somehow suspicious and unusual for somebody to be carrying an extra magazine is a very sharp example of how far removed these elite bubble fascist clowns are from the sort of gun people who are actually into concealed carry.

Based on the videos, we can expect them to engage in friendly fire pretty soon at this rate. (They’d try to spin this as someone else shooting them.)
Part of the reason the ICE shootings get in a lot of gun owners' craw, even if you look past the obvious 'this could have been us' aspect, is that these shootings violate the basic rules of firearm safety that (rightly) get drilled into responsible gun owners' heads.

It was about the US avoiding having a standing army by making sure local “well-regulated” militias would have access to arms to “execute the laws of the Union, suppress insurrection and repel invasions.”

This is a crock, BTW.
Chip Roy was (and is) wrong.

The 2nd Amendment was not about rising up against a tyrannical federal government.

Nah. They‘re already onto the next scam.

Separating out DHS funding from the rest of the appropriations bill eliminates their leverage and they know it. This is deliberate self-sabotage by @murray.senate.gov and @democrats.senate.gov.
Federal agents cannot murder people in broad daylight and face zero consequences.

I will NOT support the DHS bill as it stands.

The DHS bill needs to be split off from the larger funding package before the Senate—Republicans must work with us to do that.

I’ll keep fighting to rein in DHS and ICE.

Sen. Dick Durbin, another one of the 8 Democratic YES votes on Nov funding bill, is a NO on this DHS measure: “I will not vote to fund the illegal DHS and ICE operations that terrorize Chicago, Minneapolis, and many other communities.”

This bill doesn’t have the votes.

A government that made an honest mistake and killed someone would admit it.
A government that wanted to murder its political enemies would lie about it.

This is not murder. It's not murder.
It's an extrajudicial execution.
It's way worse than murder.
Alex Pretti was executed by an hostile, unaccountable, masked, government force.
That's what the Gestapo did.
Well, the Gestapo didnt wear masks while commiting their crimes...
