Honestly, this is why there should be public sector information platforms for a lot of what we ended up shoehorning into social media. Public-interest communication is a different problem class: it's not growth maximizing nor engagement seeking; it should (ideally) not be identity-performative.

It's been five years since I woke up with a stroke. So it's time for my annual repost of my stroke PSA thread.
3 years ago today, I had my stroke. I woke up feeling drunk: dizzy, blurry vision, slurring my speech. After a minute, I couldn't move my right side at all.
If this ever happens to you, get yourself to a hospital immediately. Time is critical.
