IMO, it raises the question of how useful are executives?
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

Nothing says MLS commentators pay zero attention to Austin FC like still repeating “Austin FC misses Brandon Vasquez’s scoring”.

Goals/Game (MLS)
With Vasquez: 0.75
Without Vasquez: 1.42

We’ve got in the habit, starting in earnest a year ago, of blaming the craziness of populists on political polarization.

But there has not, in any measurable way, been a general polarization to extremes of left and right. Only one side became polarized

Opinion: No, politics haven’t become polarized. Only one side has moved to the extremes
Many became attracted to fringe ideas and conspiracy theories on the right, but there hasn’t been a similar shift, of any significant scale, on the left

Speaker Johnson should just take the L on this vote. Most of America doesn’t want this bill to pass anyways. It’s it both the worst and most unpopular piece of legislation in modern history.

Almost twice as many people ride the New York City bus every day as live in Wyoming.

The bus should have two senators
The Senators that voted 'yes' on this disastrous bill represent more than 30 million FEWER Americans than the Senators that voted 'no.'

BREAKING: A federal judge ruled all transgender and intersex people can obtain passports that align with their gender identity while the case against President Trump's executive order proceeds.

While this is good news, we will continue fighting until this executive order is blocked permanently.

this report from media matters is fucking wild. fox news has aired 424 segments about trans athletes since feb 5.

the week democrats vetoed the GOP trans sports ban bill, they aired 59 segments.

"Society has gone too far in accommodating trans people" is an utter joke of a position because if we're being absolutely honest society has barely done anything at all to accommodate us besides letting us leave the house and if we're white letting us come home at the end of the day.

Easily the right’s greatest propaganda win was branding DEI as “forcing companies to hire unqualified black candidates” when in reality it forced companies to hire qualified black candidates instead of unqualified white ones.
Removing a black 4-star general at Secretary of Defense and replacing him with a white talk-show is the perfect example why DEI is essential. It's not about hiring unqualified minorities, it’s about foiling the majority's habit of hooking up under qualified mediocrities of their own caste.

Let's be clear: North Carolina—and eleven other states—have trigger laws that automatically end Medicaid expansion if federal support drops below 90%. This approach automatically throws over 600,000 North Carolinians off of their coverage.
Austin Scott previews how House Rs plan to cut Medicaid: "The federal govt is paying 90% of the Medicaid expansion. What we've talked about is moving that 90% level of the expansion back... nobody would be kicked off Medicaid as long as governors decided they wanted to continue to fund the program"

I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison.

It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.

The “polarization” narrative propagates a nostalgia that provides fertile ground for a politics of reaction and allows the Right to deflect blame.

As a master narrative of what is wrong with America, the “polarization” paradigm is not just analytically inept – it is actively misleading and harmful.
