In like a decade on Twitter I had a single tweet go viral and a neighbor, who I didn't even know was on Twitter, told me in person that he saw it. Horrifying.
who the fuck WANTS their posts to go viral, have you ever had that actually happen? it's like getting a winning pull on a slot machine if wasps started pouring out the bottom instead of quarters

A comrade asked me to share this invitation for faith leaders to get to Minneapolis. Encourage all who feel called to attend!

A multiracial, pro-queer coalition of clergy is convening a 2-day call rooted in accountability & preparation for sustained action in Minneapolis.

Got to see Joan Trumpauer Mulholland speak at a synagogue in Portland last night and that woman's energy and wisdom is exactly what we need to channel right now.

I think so many of people’s lack of media literacy and unwillingness to consider moral complexities that aren’t strict black/white dichotomies comes from parents not teaching kids how to read as God intended: with books kids are far too young to read kept within in easy reach of an 8 year old.

ICE is WHIPPING through my suburban neighborhoods — not uncommon to see them going 50 mph — race through red lights, veer across multiple lanes to get to off ramps, no blinkers. They’re going to hurt or kill someone (else)
One detail about the MPLS ICE invasion that I haven't seen many comment on: these goons drive like maniacs and they're eventually going to run someone over. They speed, run red lights every chance they get, and because they don't know the roads, they're constantly going the wrong way down one-ways.

I'll add: please use your local library. Check out the website, look at the services. Some are available for use from home.

Your local library may also host various groups, where you can meet your neighbors. People make community, which fights fascism. 🫶
Unsolicited advice for anyone on Bluesky who wants to fight fascism in 2026 - don't stress about following big national accounts.

Instead, follow LOCAL groups and people who are doing actual work on the ground. Join them and do stuff right in your community. THAT'S where the real action is. ❤️💪

Do not do this. Do not share any biometric data with anyone voluntarily. Even if the Ts&Cs say they will keep the information confidential -- which I doubt -- they could change the terms at any time, by which time they have your data to share with others.

No. No. No.

Punitive processes make narrowly targeted programs *less* efficient and *more* costly. Because more scrutiny requires more bureaucracy.

Punitive processes also make it *less* likely that people will get aid for which they qualify. Because of the roadblocks and stigma scrutiny creates.
