On this day in 2021, 4 years ago, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl were first released. These games were faithful remakes of the original Diamond & Pearl and featured a HD chibi look at the Sinnoh games

I would be very surprised if these Pokémon variants appeared in future main series games though, despite how awesome Mosslax is.
It's interesting the Japanese names are treated like forms; Snorlax (Moss), Pikachu (Pale) etc. while in English they're entirely unique
