If the money is relatively the same, where do you want to spend March and April - Boston or L.A. ? That’s what I thought.
There’s always a lot of microanalysis of why players are picking the Dodgers that has an underlying assumption of the players being highly informed rational actors about baseball and ignores the most obvious reason: rich famous guys fucking love the city and climate

The more info we get about this raid, the worse it becomes. ICE had NO valid warrant (administrative warrants do not authorize forceful entry into a home), the guy's sole prior conviction was a since-dismissed drug charge from 2008, AND he had checked in with ICE just days earlier.
Immigration attorney: The arrest "during a Minnesota immigration crackdown that the Department of Homeland Security has called its largest enforcement operation ever, was a “blatant constitutional violation,” since the agents did not have a proper warrant..." www.minnpost.com/public-safet...
Attorney: No proper warrant for Minneapolis man's arrest in home
The arrest of Garrison Gibson came in a city increasingly on edge after an immigration agent shot and killed Renee Good last week.

She gave away her NPP and she’s not going to get anything in return. Because Trump doesn’t do reciprocity.
FOX & FRIENDS: In spite of the Nobel Prize Committee saying you couldn't transfer your Nobel Prize to anyone, especially to President Trump, you did. Why did you do that?

MARIA CORINA MACHADO: Because he deserves it. It was a very emotional moment.

If your bargaining position is, "I will expose your pedophile friends and you will face tribunals," the conversation changes.

Of all the competitive authoritarian developments of the past year I think the fall of CBS News is among the most chilling. That this can happen to easily and so quickly freaks me the fuck out.
Nightmarish. CBS News is now running straight state propaganda. They handed Hegseth all three segments and are now tweeting flattering sound bites.

1) administration has no doctrine, it is really about a single, mercurial, and half-awake man

2) the administration is a constantly churning system with factions that rise and fall contextually

3) might not have happened if trump tower caracas

Not sure I would consider this as a “big move,” but we know what we can get from Zach when he’s healthy and I’ll take him in my rotation behind Bradish, Rogers, and Baz and with Kremer behind him. Still need to sign Ranger or trade for another top arm as the “big” move. Can’t settle here.
The Baltimore Orioles, making another big move to return to the postseason, sign veteran starter Zach Eflin to a one-year deal.
