It’s some sports, some TV and occasionally some Bravo shows here.
Watching cricket randomly, and I feel like now I can start to understand it as Raphael intended.

the melody to the chorus of the Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way" is the same as the piano bridge in Spandau Ballet's "True" bc Max Martin wrote both songs
Man, everything is so bleak, anyone got a fun fact or little bit of trivia they want to share

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Every once in a while, my music app will play an old ECW theme (the original and only, not that watered-down McMahon/Stamford crap) and I’m reminded of how much they nailed it with song choices for guys who should have been so much bigger than they were — even if they eventually made it big.

As a kid, I only needed WMAR & HTS to watch the Orioles.
You will need YES, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, ESPN, Netflix, NBC/Peacock, FOX, and TBS to watch the Yankees next season.

when i was a kid WPIX (free) aired 55 Yankees games a season, WCBS (free) aired two Yankees games a season, ESPN (not free, but basic cable) aired ten Yankees games a season, and MSG Network (your mileage may vary) aired 95 games a season. hell 20 years ago 40% of D-Rays games were on free TV!
You will need YES, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, ESPN, Netflix, NBC/Peacock, FOX, and TBS to watch the Yankees next season.

“When was the last time you had a conversation about the Baltimore Orioles or contemplated the future of the Minnesota Twins?”

Multiple times over the last few days just to start, jackass. When was the last time you remembered that the Buffalo Sabres or Seattle Kraken even existed?

Yep. It’s a win-now move. You wanted Elias to make big moves? You wanted him to not make typical Elias moves? He just dealt a controllable-contract arm for a righty bat whose deal is not controllable.
Two positive thoughts about the Grayson trade:

1. There's NO way Elias can stand pat on starting pitching now. He may not get a TOR starter, but he has to get more than he needed yesterday morning

2. This can't be confused as a "Future" type trade. This is a 2026 trade.

So good morning to everyone but national baseball writers, who I hope have miserable days full of cold coffee, bumper-to-bumper traffic and hard, thorny No. 2s. This O’s fan no longer wants anything good for you.
