i think it’s more helpful to think about the vaccine rec news like it’s a step in a project instead of an immediate crisis. they are chipping away at the foundation for vaccine access. but many states/coalitions will fight. remember, drops in vaccination rates are inherently slow (years to decades)

Thinking I might go for a tour of duty to the peds ICU or ED for next 10 years, stuff’s about to get real interesting with vaccine rollbacks.

NB: When I, a professor of law, profess that an act is unlawful, I am not doing it to inform the lawbreaker, but rather to inform you, the reader.

So the question “what, like you think he cares?” is inapposite. The question is whether *you* care. I think you should, which is why I bother.

No. It’s a great time to be a violent criminal in America. Our most sophisticated law enforcement agencies are busy hunting landscapers & housekeepers.
Is there any precedent in modern history for a mass shooting occurring in a public setting with 10+ casualties and the perpetrator not being apprehended? It's really hard to fathom.

When you hire people based on their social media profiles, you get.... content creators.

But we need DOD, the FBI, and the NIH to *work*.
And this will drive him *crazy*.

Here's a letter HHS sent canceling one of the grants, relating to work on birth defects. Canceled because the project "emphasizes equity, diversity, and inclusion as key foundational components"
