Sarcasm in Bulgarian. Nature photography for fun, mostly birds.
Here are just my photos if you don't care for the rest: https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:ovd6moc4lera5xty4tfdxbje/feed/aaaj4d7vzikto

I made a feed of just my bird photos (all of my posts tagged with 🪶). Good if you like birds but don't care for me venting about various random stuff. bsky.app/profile/did:...

all the professors and deans are like 'my contacts with mr epstein were purely in the service of my profession and I had no idea' and then his emails are just like 'can u make lolita robot?'
"Epstein had pitched [art school dept chair] on a potential art exhibit titled 'Statutory' that would showcase underage models dressed to look older than they were."

He was really just upfront with it.

Look, I know you got an article to write, but the idea that anyone should use an in-browser AI agent to read the playlist of a public radio station & make a YouTube or Spotify playlist of the songs INSTEAD OF JUST LISTENING TO THE STATION makes me want to die
We let Chrome's Auto Browse agent surf the web for us—here's what happened
Auto Browse is capable of some impressive things, but it can also crash and burn spectacularly.

GenAI outputs a homogenized statistical average of all the stuff that was stolen to train it.

Think about what that does to the aesthetics of a person raised on it, imagine subversive and erotic and queer art made by a person who has only ever known Mcdonalds ads, muzak, and advertising copy.

Because I am tired of the framing “Accept that we will lose and compromise further from there”. It has to end.
I confess I do not understand why “the left should prepare for the worst case scenario with AI and jobs” seems to have elicited such a strong negative reaction bsky.app/profile/chri...
I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.

You know we can just arrest all the billionaires in a day, right? We can nationalize all they used to own in a day. There is no need for them to exist. We don’t have to accept this shit.

It's a fascinating case of molecular mimicry that may help make vaccine safer.🧪
