she/her, opinionated and cranky nerd of middling years, extremely queer but in like a boring way, probably shouldn't expect much here

Me: "I should work on this."

My brain: *starts humming Katamari music instead*

In happier news, today was the 3 year anniversary of my top surgery!

I have no regrets

It instantly ended 30 years of constant anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation

I was able to love my body for the first time ever

Truly saved my life 💖

Also the car-seller is constantly lying to you to make certain you are as likely to die as possible after they get all the money they can out of you, while delivering a toy steering wheel duct-taped to a board with tires drawn on it.
Think about buying a car, a fun, stress-free negotiating process that everybody loves. Now imagine that if you don’t buy a car you die and if you buy the wrong car you also die
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

Something I would add onto it is

So much of the sex-negative feminists you see online that fell for a right-wing psyop a decade ago

Do not realize how many of the stuff they complain about in anime... was made by women as self-expression

2021's Mad God would have been a really cool artbook, but as a movie it was about 5-10 minutes of interested fascination and curiosity followed by ~70 minutes of complete boredom with the whole thing.

Just finished. Good book. Thank you for reinforcing my discomfort at ever being between two mirrors facing each other. (My mother has two set up like that in her bathroom so she can see to cut her own hair and I studiously try to not look at the infinitely regressing reflections when there.)
Picked up @tkingfisher.com 's "Hemlock & Silver" from the library and just 50 pages in it's thoroughly won my heart. Swapping effortlessly between wry humor and thoughtful melancholy.

Survival mode in Skyrim is starting to lose its novelty. The survival needs are now entirely solved or extremely manageable. No fast travel is just boring with how big the world is and only the major town carriages to make up for any of it. Halved carry weight is just bad with how heavy stuff gets.
