I don't want to quote folks because I understand the concern but all this 'Trump doesn't intend to let elections happen' stuff is perhaps irrelevant when you consider that Trump has shelf life comparable to the average potato salad and all his replacements have as much charisma as one.

I don’t trust WOTC further than I can throw them, but I feel like these posts back to back (same wording and all) Is the closest they can get to saying "We are not doing Harry Potter" without pissing off their parent company that is doing HP toys.

If you want a word to call people from the USA that is less awkward to say than USians, Yankee is available. It's extra funny because it'll annoy some people (Yankee is a regional term) and "we took a regional term and applied it to your entire country" is a fair thing to hit us with, tbh.
