Right off the bat, I love the opening. More like Himitsu 70's Gorenger.
Everything is 70's retrofuturistic. The music is perfectly 70's. It's absolutely what I'd expect from this era.

I watched the 2017 Power Rangers movie last night and it was bad for a lot of reasons but also the suit design was massively overcomplicated. This is the opposite: clean, simple, effective, and thus memorable. It works. You don't need to over-complicate Sentai suits.
And now we get our first look at the outfits for the season. The first ever Sentai Suits. While the designs are a bit dated and I'm never a fan of half capes like that, the design is clean and easy to read and original. I can see why they instantly became iconic.

Honestly I'm now thinking all of Goranger was an inspiration for G.I. Joe. Like if you showed an American just the first episode of this show with no other exposure to Sentai and said, "Make something like this but make it American," you would probably get G.I. Joe

There are certain plot beats in my Sentai-inspired litRPG that I was debating if they were the right call... But seeing how annoyed I'm getting at the reactionary politics of Project R.E.D. is pretty indicative of the fact that I absolutely should be going this route.

Fucking hell. I just wrote the big mech suit moment for Coreblade Dungeon Wardens and I am so proud of this fight. Feels like I was stuck because I hadn't thought this part through but now that I have it I think I finally am back in the groove for this book that I lost.

Shit. Think I pushed my wrists too hard today. While my hot water heater was being replaced, I spent the entire time scrolling and checking people on my phone and typing because of it, because I didn't feel comfortable dictating with workers around. Damn it.

So much this. Part of why I mostly only date people after getting to know them for a while first - helps me learn who they really are.
Dating advice of the day, make sure you are not trying to 'impress' someone at a level you cannot sustain or it will feel shitty later when you stop.
