No but for real. I sometimes see straight books emulate Toxic Yuri and it makes me just feel vaguely ill. This is also why het omegaverse just often does not work.

Also just adding, if this is our income, we kind of have to care if someone likes it. People liking it is kind of how we make sure we have food and shelter. Like it would be nice to not need to worry about if people like it. But as long as capitalism exists, some of us need to.
I don’t think ppl understand the whole “who cares if nobody likes it! make content for yourself” is extremely dismissive

You know what I think we should just claim her at this piont, like we did with Ghost Spider. Cassandra Caine is a trans woman. Memories to the countary are all from her POV, remembering herself as a young girl/woman.
Cassandra Caine has the coolest Batsuit around.
She is also disabled, being practically mute & illiterate, and struggles with it.

Episode one is done. I will probably do less posting throughout for episodes later on just because there's 50 seasons of this and I want to finish it within my lifetime, but I'm definitely going to be watching more and commenting when I have comments I want to make.
I watched the 2017 Power Rangers movie last night and it was bad for a lot of reasons but also the suit design was massively overcomplicated. This is the opposite: clean, simple, effective, and thus memorable. It works. You don't need to over-complicate Sentai suits.
And now we get our first look at the outfits for the season. The first ever Sentai Suits. While the designs are a bit dated and I'm never a fan of half capes like that, the design is clean and easy to read and original. I can see why they instantly became iconic.

Honestly I'm now thinking all of Goranger was an inspiration for G.I. Joe. Like if you showed an American just the first episode of this show with no other exposure to Sentai and said, "Make something like this but make it American," you would probably get G.I. Joe
