I don’t trust WOTC further than I can throw them, but I feel like these posts back to back (same wording and all) Is the closest they can get to saying "We are not doing Harry Potter" without pissing off their parent company that is doing HP toys.

This is probably the closest we will get to official confirmation not to worry about Harry Potter: Universes Beyond anytime soon, which is a huge fucking relief. That's been one thing I've been dreading. (Also don’t buy fucking HP merch)

If you want a word to call people from the USA that is less awkward to say than USians, Yankee is available. It's extra funny because it'll annoy some people (Yankee is a regional term) and "we took a regional term and applied it to your entire country" is a fair thing to hit us with, tbh.

Here's the link for their "teen council" application form that's linked on their page and in which is the only way of feedback for these changes.
I'd suggest flooding it to all hell with demanding the changes to not go through. Inconvenience them.
