she/her, opinionated and cranky nerd of middling years, extremely queer but in like a boring way, probably shouldn't expect much here
Tried out the new Jackbox with some friends tonight.

Exhibit A: the single brain cell a few of us have shared for the past 20 years.

Just arrived, skimmed through once immediately and will read more closely when I have the time. Entertaining, and beautiful art from @iceghost.bsky.social (and the rest, but no offense, Underwood was my priority here).

Has owlbears, 11 ⭐ out of 10.

Without downloading anything, where at mentally right now?

It's across a national border but from what you've said before I think you might be within a Meaningful Marketing Radius from this guy.

Perfectly logical advertising for home decorations, then.

From the first moment I read this, it has never left me. It's often safe to assume that a person has written (or spoken) intentionally and if I fail to understand then it's on me to try to rectify that. I sometimes fail, but try not to assume the worst or most foolish possible interpretation first.

He's very on board with the whole "rend, slaughter, devour your enemies" (my toes) bit.

Excerpt from Caroline Fraser's "Prairie Fires," biography of Laura Ingalls Wilder. From the opening chapters, specifically quoting the speech given by Dakota chief Little Crow before the Dakota War of 1862, after countless offenses and treaty violations by white settlers.

Painfully, sadly correct.

Behold, moe art!

Arrived from @midtown-comics.bsky.social, picked up entirely for @zoewithasword.bsky.social writing for both and Bayleigh Underwood doing line art for a story in Marvel Pride. (Underwood has talked about anxiety problems recently, not sure if I should ping her. Her art's lovely, though.)

Some more pins I also picked up while out and about the other day. I'm not really a believer in stuff like the Tarot as such, but I am big on the choice and use of symbols for oneself. And these two feel apt.

Also the eldritch horror cat is just cute.

Just arrived from @fairyfort.bsky.social 's "Cats with Jobs" pin Kickstarter as well as some extras added on. They're beautiful, my crappy lighting and phone camera don't do them justice, especially the dragon pin.

Mama cat is still feeding her but enjoying it less and less, but fortunately little Tuffy here likes the milk replacement too.

I'm gonna be extremely normal about the new Velvet Room attendant.

(Honestly I probably will, but I do think she's very pretty.)

It's showing up like it should! Yay! Geez, hopefully that's done with for good, seems like if it was widespread it'd be kind of A Problem for the project getting actually done.

Hey, not trying to add to troubles, but maybe some concern on how Backerkit's processing pledges for the kitty pins - for mine, at least, it's showing the built-in shipping cost from the KS pledge as extra "credit" to spend on add-ons, and not adding in an actual shipping cost.

I had a very silly idea, and also I am very bad at image editing.

I may have a hoarding problem.

The problem is that there's no one who can afford to buy most of this shit off of me.
