There’s been a nice overall whimsy that has shown up. The frog is amazing. We had a bunch of other inflatable people here last night, too. I saw people playing Twister the other day.
What they rely on is fear. So by coming out in an absurdist manner, it speaks to them, to some extent, that we’re actually not that afraid.
It also dismantles their narrative a little bit. i’ve got a flight attendant friend and it’s incredibly fucked up that it’s an industry standard to not pay flight attendants until plane doors close. they are not compensated for work done during boarding

The thing about streaming services is that their bread & butter are households that sub and forget - ppl who go months w/o actually using the product but enjoy having the option at their fingertips.
