No Other Choice is just so good, so ferocious and human. There's a lot to think about with it, including Lee Byung-hun's excellent performance and Park Chan-wook's sublime direction. But I can't stop thinking about Son Ye-jin's quiet, textured performance that grounds the movie.

Best film of the year.
Park Chan-wook's funniest film NO OTHER CHOICE comes out today and is playing on 35mm at the Vista for those in LA. While some have claimed other films released this year represent what the world is like in 2025, I feel this is the one that truly captures this moment in time.
