You know what RIPS? A blank cd that I carefully curated 17 tracks onto so that you would instantly know I was the coolest person in your circle. (Or I would also make you compilations with bespoke artwork 😂)

Massive shoutout out to whoever handles the Royal Canadian Air Force’s social media account. They responded to every single comment on their already very solid Trans Day of Remembrance post and they responded like this…

One student after encountering the immaculate "Love is lak de sea" analogy near the end of TEWWG and hearing classmates talk about how hopeful it made them:

"But the sea doesn't just take the shape of the shore—it actually can erode it, breaking it down. Like what love can do to us."

“The tentpole event of the conference was a conversation between Hines and accused rapist Russell Brand, who is currently out on bail (his trial is scheduled for June 2026 in the UK) and who I saw entering the hotel wearing just a bathrobe.”

This is deftly written, funny but also packs a punch.

Idk how many investigators worked on the Epstein files but I assume it's a large number.

But if Trump related evidence is in there and suddenly it's not part of what's released, those folks are going to leak like crazy.

A part of Texas that has NOT been represented since March 2025 will have to vote in:
Jan 2026
March 2026
(July 2026 depending on runoffs, local etc)
AND ON Nov 2026

to actually be represented at all levels of govt,

All thanks to Greg Abbott. #txlege

Somebody get a net.
Trump is ranting barely coherently to McDonald's franchise owners: "The one pilot said, 'skedaddle!' And that thing just turned on its side -- pppph. And it's so unbelievable. And that knocked out Iran nuclear capability."

“We owe it to our young people not to lie to them anymore. A democracy whose citizens operate with fundamentally different understandings of the past and its implications cannot sustain itself.”
I spent October traveling to schools throughout the South talking to students about American history. What I found were young people who understand we can tell a story that includes both the positive and the negative. As one 8th grader in Memphis said, “Doesn’t seem that hard, just say both things.”
Tell Students the Truth About American History
We owe it to Americans of all ages to be honest about the country’s past, including its contradictions.

someone taught me this years ago and I still find it useful: if you are writing an email and are worried about sending it along before you've fully drafted and/or edited it, put the word "draft" (or any other word, really) in the "To" section and it will not send until you remove it.

This week, the House prepares to vote on the Epstein Files. Texans like Republican U.S. Rep Keith Self and Democratic U.S. Rep. Colin Allred have made their positions clear, where Dan Crenshaw has come under fire for not addressing the issue.
