The author of the piece screen-shotted below is a U.S. army officer.

I would contend that an officer planning for a 'post-liberal' military has betrayed their oath to "support and defend the Constitution," perjuring themselves before God and men and is as a result, unfit to serve.

I can't believe I have to speak up about the death of PME.

The death of the military being a profession.

The difference between a soldier and a warrior is war crimes.

The weakest officer you can be is one who is not forced to read doctrine and history.

One who is not forced to consider ethics.

I helped build a government AI system. DOGE fired me, rolled the AI out to the whole agency, and implied the AI can do my job and the jobs of the others they've fired.

It can't. But, what DOGE accidentally revealed about themselves in the process is fascinating. 🧵

I don’t think it’s that they want it destroyed as much as they just want the money going to F-35’s and 155 mm shells redirected to their VC companies grifting AI and Drones
Trump may be damaging the U.S arms industry right now. But we should consider that they may not just be stupid, but deliberate. I've listened to a few of the podcast episodes with the Trump capo David Sachs and Peter Thiel. These people have contempt for the U.S arms industry and want it destroyed.

The biggest reason why I dislike the idea of respectability in dress is because it conflates the *appearance* of virtue with *actual* virtue. Wearing a suit doesn't make you respectful, intelligent, or capable, just as wearing a leather jacket doesn't make you rugged.

It’s difficult to articulate the shame I feel from the last few days.

I’ve spent years from up close watching how the Russians have prosecuted their war in Ukraine with utter disregard for the value of human life and disdain of international humanitarian law. Years preparing to be ready
