Oh yes. I have a bunch of coffee plants growing underneath the kawakawa.
(Te Rangikaiwiria sent me some of his seedlings a couple years ago. He's not on bsky anymore, but he's growing a whole empire of coffee trees in Aotearoa)

Our very clever friend Emily Cater made us a beautiful Christmas card. For non NZers, Edmonds is the ubiquitous baking goods company, the leaf on the right is Kawakawa for healing, Pohutukawa (red) is our Christmas tree (and link with dead) and Kowhai is the yellow blossom birds love.

Our very clever friend Emily Cater made us a beautiful Christmas card. For non NZers, Edmonds is the ubiquitous baking goods company, the leaf on the right is Kawakawa for healing, Pohutukawa (red) is our Christmas tree (and link with dead) and Kowhai is the yellow blossom birds love.
