My mother survived walking through Hiroshima the day after as a 13 year old, so I have a fair idea of what a nuclear holocaust looks and feels like

Found out it wasn’t a neighbour but someone known to them. Very scary stuff for everyone

The Bonking Kākāpō

Yeah, not necessary. I’m all about community and I have a lot of it on my doorstep
February 13, 2026 at 6:02 AM
No. Where’s their recent record on doing that?
Labour has made it clear they will work with The Greens so I suggest both these parties will work together to move away from this desperate bullshit from National.

Not surprised
February 13, 2026 at 5:56 AM
No idea. Will door knock and check in on them
February 13, 2026 at 5:56 AM
That’s pretty well it and our cops are expected to act as mental health experts meantime. Everything is so fucked up and not improving. If anything, it’s going the other way 😞
February 13, 2026 at 4:49 AM
I do. This is a good neighbourhood on the whole, which is why this is such a surprise
February 13, 2026 at 4:26 AM
No. Pretty shaken up. He’s probably lost a lot of blood but the cops & 1st responders got onto treating him pretty fast. I know there are kids in the affected flats so might go and check on them over the weekend
February 13, 2026 at 4:25 AM
That’s the issue. No one wants to invest in here because our governments aren’t looking long term. National pulling the pin on the ferries dealt a massive blow to any shred of credibility we had left.
February 13, 2026 at 4:22 AM
Shit! Nothing is ever boring sound here! One of the neighbours over the back fence flipped a switch & went fucking nuts smashing windows. Cops and ambulance arrived pretty quickly. Unreal! They’ve been there for years & never had a problem 🫢

I know he will appreciate it 😊

I think disenfranchising anyone is wrong, whether or not you have access to government assistance or not. It’s a basic human right to democracy (#21 to be precise)

Proud of everyone who wants to be educated!! ❤️

I’ve been avoiding reading the new draft. If this is what is to be inflicted on teachers & students then I don’t want to return to teaching
