My mother survived walking through Hiroshima the day after as a 13 year old, so I have a fair idea of what a nuclear holocaust looks and feels like

One plan is to relocate some or all to the unoccupied Nu'utele Island after pigs and Pacific rats have been eradicated. We are almost there

Can I suggest that you cut up the squash prior to freezing, removing the seeds and skin, and freezing the pieces for soup later? I do this in Aotearoa NZ when the pumpkins & squash are ripe. Saves a big mess later & you can also make small quantities

This YouTube video, about making chicken stock the way Heston Blumenthal does, is one of the most impressive pieces of production I've seen in ages!

And also good if you wanna make delicious chicken stock.

This is an artificial mouth created by Japanese researchers. It uses artificial vocal cords, a trachea system, and a flexible silicone mouth that moves and shapes sound in real time.

It sounds so human-like!

The flip side is also fucked: “The lease starts on the 1st Jan. The space still needs to be cleaned. When will you be moving in?”

Basically 12 month lease cycles are just exploitative of students or whenever else might live in those spaces
FFS Dunedin student landlords are cunts.

Son is paying rent for 2 places he’s not living in because they have 12 month leases.

So glad we have these leeches a $3b tax cut

This reminds me to remind you to PLEASE DRIVE WITH LIGHTS ON when you’re on the open road. Sure, it might be sunny as a HB summer’s day but your car can get lost from an oncoming driver’s vision if they’re looking to make a passing manoeuvre, especially dark & dull coloured cars.
Lights ON please!!
Yeah there's some shit drivers out there - this on SH1 near here - look for the red MG on the left:

Interesting to note the % increase in e-bikes local bike shops are
