he's a guy who he thinks he's the putative "hard man" ready for "bad times" and doesn't realize he's actually the "weak man" shepherding in the bad times. he openly fantasizes about how he's one of the few who will be able to navigate the wasteland
Well. There is a reason they were fantasizing about it. They might consciously have narrated their desires to themselves in an American vernacular of “the little guy fighting the big government,“ but they were fantasizing about jackboots and masked raids because they desire those things.

I set a fast pace, #confident Sophie would be shepherding the lovers behind me. The backstreets shown with a lunar glow. Over the beating of my own heart yells came from everywhere, making it impossible to judge how close the Russians were. #amquerying #WIPSnips

Well, as Dolly is a frequent performer at Sharess Caress, Mamzell probably does have their number.

"Dolly doll - you're unwise - some giant, sexy, fervent lunatic with laser eyes and a tiny waist passed by earlier who seemed right up your street. He was shepherding a mob thattaway -"

On the question of whether Stephen Miller or Corey Lewandowski occupy positions subject to impeachment, I’d say you do yourself no favors debating it ahead of time.

If the political will is there, exercise it. Let the defendants worry about shepherding the litigation after the fact.

A steward of death shepherding new life unto the star, how beautiful. He feels the same way when a seed sprouts in his garden.

And bringing into question what being a woman or a man in bionicle sphere means where these forces are ostensibly governed by patriarchs. But at the same time these patriarchs are shepherding a culture in the wake of catastrophe

Months of relentless violence by Israeli state-backed settler militias, soldiers and police forces have achieved their goal: the last remaining families in the Palestinian community of Ras ‘Ein al-‘Auja left this week.

Today has been a day of shepherding men older than me through technical issues and I'm very thankful they have been pretty chill dudes about stuff.

Dr. Foege, credited by many for shepherding the smallpox eradication effort to completion, died Saturday at the age of 89. He epitomized all that was positive about an era of public health that saw enormous gains made both in the United States and abroad.

In Ps.56:3 today: 'On the day that fear takes hold of me, I will put my trust in you' (FNV). Like snowfall looking for its shape, we turn to our creator for hopeful shepherding, the still small voice. Fear makes a small. God knows how to be God with us. Trust is my work today.

Sure, and I think the "winning the base over" makes more sense than "heed the base", which is what some folks seem to think it. Lots of bases need shepherding to the winning position, such is the game (imho).

Israel in my eyes is hideous and despicable. Watching settlers attack, hunt and kill innocent people mostly people shepherding and farming their land. The same type of gangs that killed Alex Pretti, killing out of hate.

I don’t know the original intent of this 🧵 , but it is inspiring to read through brief blurbs from people who have been defending democracy for decades.

Still here. Shepherding the next generation. One small step at a time.
I need to hear from the folks in the 60/70s and protesting Vietnam (and everything else)...did shit feel as corrupt, unjust, overwhelming, and impossible to overcome as they do now? Not inviting you to compare, more how you felt in the moment, not knowing what you know now

⭕️ Final shepherd community forcibly displaced from southern Jordan Valley in West Bank

After months of Israeli settler violence against Palestinian communities in Ras Ein al-Auja, the final remaining people have now left.

It was previously home to about 800 Palestinians w/ roughly half of them..

The "pastoral" part of pastoral care is the shepherding that happens in those moments of crisis and grief to get people from where they are to where they need to be. #chaplain

My mom was constantly shepherding my sister and me so we were out of others’ way when we were kids. It makes me wonder about others’ upbringings.

man, this is such an incredible story — it’s about a Christian getting lost, perhaps hundreds of years after their death, and being brought home by a believer commissioned with their mortal shepherding 🥰🥰🥰
A few days ago, I stood in the graveyard of an 1100 year old church, getting damper and damper in the drizzling rain.

A woman walked into the graveyard, waved, said hello, and, as we had previously arranged, handed me a paper bag full of human bones.

The life of a churchwarden is a strange one...
