I'm even thinking that maybe we set out like a 20-point peace proposal, just like we did in Gaza. We put a 20-point Trump plan together that was 20 points for peace and I'm thinking maybe we do the same thing with you. But I'm saying instead of talking like that, let's talk more hopefully because I think we're going to get to a deal here. ARE WE TOO BUSY ??? The worst thing about aging is not what you might expect: It's not the worry about the shrinking dollar Nor the aches, pains, and betrayal of the body. It's not reaching out to three people in a week and a half and hearing, I'm sorry they passed away a day ago, or last night. It's not when you're called to the bedside of someone dying and they say, "It would really mean a lot if you would join me and my daughter for one last Christmas meal, it doesn't have to be on Christmas day, anytime that's best for your before Christmas day is fine, but perhaps the sooner the better". It's not immediately saying , "Well, of course I would love to be here just give me time and date". It's not when they reach beneath the blankets and hand over a list of 9 people including yourself, The very worst thing about being old is that moment the person making the request peeks out from beneath a woolly cancer cap and quietly says. 'You are the only one on my list who did not say, "I need to check my calendar because as you know during the holidays everyone is busy"' 😔 💔 What have we allowed ourselves to become? Are we too busy... Over the past how many decades wealthy CEOs slowly took more of our time away from our loved ones, now we no longer notice #Friends #Family 👇️ We used to be able to support a family on one income, while working 5 days a week. During my lifetime, over many decades, I noticed employers slowly made more and more demands on our time but didn't increase wages enough so we could keep up with the cost of living. Now in order to buy a home and raise a family , two incomes are needed, and people are becoming increasingly disconnected from each other. It's happened so gradually, over generations, that now we are at the point that *some* are so accustomed, conditioned, to "being busy", and even though they might no longer be employed, they have become so emotionally detached that they are hesitating to grant the final wishes of a quickly dying loved one. 😔 💔😔 💔😔 💔😔 💔

The revival of metaphysical realism after decades of positivism is one of the most remarkable features of current analytic philosophy. It may perhaps be traced to a fundamental difference of interest between analytic philosophers of the present generation and those who founded the positivist schools of epistemology. The difference may briefly be expressed by saying that the latter were concerned with what we can now to be true and wished to repudiate metaphysical claims to knowledge, specially because these tended to be associated with Hegelian tradition not only in philosophy but also in authoritarian religion and politcs. Liberalism and social democracy, the Vienna positivists though, were better defended in association with naturalistic knowledge. Modern analytic philosophers...have generally divorced their philosophical from their ideological and practical interests, and have therefore lost the urgency of the question 'How can we know?' Her reference: "R.S. Cohen, 'Neurath, Otto'...It is remarkable how little of the political aspect of the thought of the Vienna Circle was mentioned in connection with its philosophical history until recently." She tells the reader to contrast the articles in The legacy of logical positivism with Janik and Toulmin's Wittgenstein's Vienna.
