the developers of FOL did a really good job to make thier game world uniquely british in all aspects. what makes it weird is that fallout at its very core, story and soul, is unequivocally American.
This is why calls for Fallout London are misguided btw. What are you going to do, line up in the iodine queue and wait your turn? Fun game...
Europeans think all the random loot in Fallout is because of a nuclear war but America is just like that. Yesterday, I found a rocket launcher looking for my phone charger.

Hal Jordan loves his lil Eskimo buddy. Getting him out of scrapes, defending him from discrimination, having to fight an eastern block villain with supersonic powers to get a stamp for Thomas' stamp collection. Still real fast and loose with the slurs tho.
Silver Age Hal Jordan does this thing where he keeps calling Kalmaku *sigh* just, not great slang for Alaskan Inuit. But at the same time constantly praises his abilities and defends him from discrimination. It's oddly endearing.
Naaah. Hal is median prejudice for any given era he's in. (We do not talk about Thomas Kalmaku and nicknames he was given)
