The current big drama in the increasingly stupid western comic book world: DC released cult classic title Warlord on a (more expensive) paperstock that matches original newsprint, giving a more accurate coloring. Collectors are review bombing in outrage because they think glossy = more expensive.

Kaiji Kawaguchi is just so consistently creating new manga series that it's really a modern day wonder. If any English publisher can really commit to releasing any of his titles, we'd have decades of consistent content to enjoy. Maybe 2026 will be that year to start!

My daughter has two cats that she takes care of (that was the deal), but she's at her moms since Christmas. I remembered to feed and put in fresh water last night, but apparently I didn't put out fresh water early enough this morning as one cat has gone to The Source.

12YO girl signed up to do “stand up comedy” at the talent show. 13YO boy decided to heckle her. Teacher started to tell the boy to leave her alone, but the 12YO comedian said “no, no, let him go, this is the closest he’s ever going to get to having a conversation with a girl.”
