Holy crap, you weirdos, don't follow me because of some random political post.
opted to keep a couple of the anime wallscrolls and temporarily be a bit creatively.

some days it's just a cheap salad lunchday.

Also finished off Liason. I watched initially because Irene Jacob was in it, and she won my heart with Three Colors: Red. But Eva Green is a close second, and Vincent Cassel is just a delight to watch.

Overly complicated spy agency drama but clocking in at 6 episodes helps overall.

That awkward moment where you're talking lightly about the Ladies on Top manga with your kids and your youngest says, "OH! I READ THAT"

ah, now the fun to try and find a local anime club to donate some wallscrolls to.

check out the 1st episode of Pluribus last night.

As is the case with most virus-like shows, it's a very slow start to get to know characters and general tone. The last 10-15 minutes are where it picks up, but even then I was a touch bored, but that's because media has ruined me.

It's a lot of fun! And only two issues for the arc.

I really enjoyed the Hellboy in Love miniseries.

digging into some of next week's books and new Hellboy is an absolute delight. I love it when they touch on historical stuff to enhance its realness.

The Lumen series with Captain Nemo's granddaughter is its own special fun too.

How it started and how it was updated

"My guests this week are both conservative writers, both critics of feminism, both women who have very different views of what a right-wing politics of gender should look like."

Happy birthday to my youngest, who is named after a Macross character no less, as she turns 24 today!

That'll make a few of you feel old!

the horror of actually doing this. To be fair, it was a casual talk with some humor and heart. But in the back of my head, this piece from the Twisted Sister music video was in my mind.

Which is why I found a better way of saying it. :D

Spend time with the replies to that.

i can't even with this.
November 4, 2025 at 4:11 PM
alright, everyone is where they need to be and I can start working more on articles.

Episode 3 of The Chicken Sisters underway as well. Struggling a bit because I have such a low threshold for "southern nice" shows even when they acknowledge the facade of it all.

sucker for thompson and malick tho

time for me to put on my elder-care hat for the rest of the evening and get offline.

I need to spend my days like this more.

This was one of my favorite posts in my local buy-nothing group earlier this year. I can't just post with "here's item, come get it." I gots to be flowery.

This is the best manga panel I've seen all week.
