The English version of Beyblade X volume 1 came out this week! I've been a huge fan for basically my entire life, so it's an honor to get to do the lettering for the English version. I'd like to do a mini tour of some of my work, and explain what it is I even do.

The founder worked HARD to build up that brand and establish a positive relationship with the manga community.

RIP to anime director Tatsuya Nagamine. One of the finest adventure anime directors of the modern era. He helped breath new life into long-running series and made them feel altogether vital again. The current One Piece boom wouldn't have been possible in the same way without him.

Decided to join in the lettering stacks with the first four chapters of One Piece vol. 111. Sound effects only, because cobbling together my InDesign and Photoshop files is more work than I'm willing to put into this. Also did it as spreads, because One Piece has a ton of two-page spreads.

While I understand people are skeptical of the Steam Machine as being too wonky to make a dent in PlayStation or Nintendo, I absolutely see a scenario in which it replaces Xbox, which does not seem to be difficult at this point.

They will tell you no. They might even laugh.
