I am all Dominicans and Cape Verdians. I don’t let Black Women touch my hair. I’m my experience? They don’t know what the hell they are doing.

Baseball is the most insane lol.

Canadian and American anthems for Puerto Ricans and Dominicans.

Have some respect.

Our new Deacon is a Franciscan Tertiary, or Third Order Franciscan. All sorts of neat things happen when Dominicans and Franciscans work and serve together, so it will be interesting to see what God is up to. 😀

I have Latino friends who didn't vote for the 'Child Rapist' in the White House; I have absolute 'CONTEMPT' for Latinos and especially 'Dominicans' who think that their light skin color makes them white. They're dumb, racist, bigoted, and fucking ignorant like Trump, so now they hate him fu*k them.
‘Latinos Hate Donald Trump’: CNN’s Harry Enten Shocked at President’s ‘Massive’ Approval Rating Nosedive
Enten was left shocked as he looked at polling that showed Trump’s once-remarkable gains with Latino voters now completely underwater.

#Dominican migrants have also been shown to have more schooling as a group than island #Dominicans.

Chicken mofongo?
Yeah, Dominicans are the warmest people I’ve ever encountered.

Dominicans are like the most specific my sliver of academia got in grad school

My barber for most of my life was Afro-Cuban. At one point, he moved into a shop run by Dominicans.

High comedy watching them try to communicate with each other.

I give you hockey, sir. I think around 30% of baseball is Latino (Dominicans, Cubans, for example), less African-Americans than there used to be but an increasing number of Asians.

Brown mentions the Dominicans and the Columbians as inspirations for trafficking, but while that may be the case in the strictest terms this is right out of the American playbook. The Carter is an occupation, a demonstration of power. The line about the tenants IS America!!

mentioning anything like that so that’s also a point of contention as well. I honestly majestic the Dominicans to do my hair for me because I feel like they’re overwhelmed, but they do know how to do my hair you know

The fact is if we need tough, charismatic machismo in left media, and we might, I don't even give a shit about English-language. Fuck em all. What we need is Dominicans and Mexicans and Hondurans and Puerto Ricans, speaking in Spanish to men looking for a structure to fight for their lives.

this isn't the point but when I was discerning the priesthood a long time ago, we used to say that people become Dominicans or Paulists or diocesan because they want to be priests... but Jesuits become priests because they want to be Jesuits

Pissing off the Dominicans is good sport.
November 15, 2025 at 1:10 AM
The Dominicans still exist - just assign them again. There aren't enough open wells around for them to be timid these days.
November 15, 2025 at 12:11 AM
Which religious order do we put in charge though. Don’t say the Dominicans. It’s funnier if we make them mad.
November 14, 2025 at 10:16 PM
Dominicans, why y’all boil everything?

I got a comment flagged for racism on Facebook once, back when FB was still trying to prevent hate speech, because I said something like “Dominicans are either absolutely wonderful or really awful people, no middle ground.”

I was talking about the friars, but the system didn’t know that…

Dreamed Marc Maron asked me to watch his store for an afternoon. All sorts of unforeseen problems arose. Some Dominicans wanted to use a “local informal currency” to pay. I wasn’t sure. They had five 100 unit bills, which were actually doormats that said “Esta tienda vende productos Dominicanos.”

#Dominican migrants have pushed the #Dominican Republic to permit #Dominicans in the United States to retain their #Dominican citizenship so that they will be considered citizens when they return home to visit or to live, as many do
