Chuck blew up his spot at DC a while back. It's unclear what he did, but one day there was an announcement, "Chuck Dixon no longer works here." He bounced around some of the second tier publishers, but eventually he was doing Comicsgate work.

Before Musk, before comicsgate, before gamergate, we had HEAT (Hals Emerald Attack Team). A bunch of entitled fans who couldn't bear that someone else was Green Lantern other than Hal Jordan. These cranks were a direct progenitor of the ugly, entitled scene we have today, I genuinely believe that.

Companies choosing not to protect their employees while these mass harassment campaigns happen will forever be disappointing. DC Comics bending the knee to comicsgate and MAGA and not protecting Gretchen Felker-Martin for saying something Jack Kirby probably would have said is disappointing.
