In this thread I will be sharing 4 panels from a Plastic Man story every day until I can’t any more! From the Golden Age to now, it’ll be bits of Plas throughout history!

Netflix has put all the James Bond films on there, which is great, and I’ve been enjoying them. But I find it so weird that among them is Never Say Never Again, the Thunderball remake/knockoff by another studio that was made only because a producer had the rights and thought he had a goldmine

This is super insane. It’s never even mentioned by anyone. Plastic Man doesn’t even reference it. We see his deepest desire being dead in an alley, while everyone wants to live their perfect lives. Holy cow.

Someone should get this dude some therapy.

One of Jack Cole’s lesser known but still cool characters

God it’s actually absurd how few Plastic Man comics are actually available to purchase through DC. All this, a good chunk of Police Comics (unless if you don’t want to pay for the Archives collection, then it’s most), and almost the entirety of the 60’s and 70’s books. And more!

God it's been so long since I've posted some work here. Sorry for the radio silence. I did this classic Hobgoblin (no redesigns, just the classic perfect look) as a quick warm up to get back in shape and show you guys that I'm still alive XD

James Stewart as Plastic Man specifically wriggled into my brain years ago, because an article by Michael Eury in Alter Ego about unmade Plas films included an aside about who he’d cast in the lead roles for every decade (up to 2003). Stewart is the best casting of the lot.

I’ve got like 14 of these to do to catch up. Whoops.

Anyways, in addition to asking for prompts, I’m also asking for another kind of help.
Illustration 16: too big to fit

An OC I made last night. Imagine if a size-changing hero couldn’t shrink back. He’s really bummed about it.

I didn’t get to mention it, but it’s funny that the antagonists are called The Trans. It’s in reference to them being trans-dimensional and trans-spiritual, but nonetheless in 2025 it’s funny

The fact I got the main and alt text to look good in this at all is amazing. I was practically blacking out every five seconds writing this just from tiredness, haha.

Here, have some bonus panels for my troubles

The reason why Flashpoint Batman never works is because he doesn’t have the mustache Thomas Wayne always should have

I really enjoy seeing my WorkingMan font, which I designed for Blambot around 25 years ago, used so much by letterer Rus Wooton on Skybound's Invincible Universe comics! I designed this as a homage to John Workman's sound effects lettering which I've always loved.

I'm quite a fan of Aranofsky's work, and I have to say I hope he never fucking works again after making this fucking garbage. Director's jail for life. Go to hell.
First trailer for Darren Aranofsky's new AI animated series 'On This Day... 1776'

• Tells short narrative stories about the Revolutionary War

• Uses Gen AI tools, including tech made by Google DeepMind

• Has SAG voice actors

As someone who’s a big fan of Plastic Man AND Power Girl it sucks that the length of their interactions can be summarized as [“boob joke” “you’re stupid”]

The writers gave him a vocabulary just to make that gag

I miss my ole buddy Luke Ernest McDunnagh. Where are ya bud? You ain’t been around in the mainline comics since Terrifics ended in 2020. Your conflict with your father came to a satisfactory end and I wanna see what ya get up to. Where’d you go? 😔

Shoutout to when I read a ton of the 80’s Amazing Heroes magazines online and had dreams all about black and white weird comic book projects. That was cool. I should do that again.

Opted to doodle a Wonder Woman on a blank variant cover in lieu of doomscrolling. This will go up on the Helioscope etsy in a few days, or if you want it right now, it’s yours for free if you make a $100+ donation to the trans law center. transgenderlawcenter.org/donate/ DM me to coordinate.

Another thing I wanna talk about with this. It’s always been so weird to me that this book jokes about and teases a Superman and Power Girl romance. +
