It's very easy:

Just don't. The idea that Copilot or ChatGPT are suddenly essential tools is just buying into the corporate ad blitz.

Games were made just fine (well, relatively) up through...what, 2023? 2024? They didn't suddenly become VITAL for budgets or design docs in the last 2-3 years.

America, you've spoken loud and clear: you do not like being stabbed in the dick with an ice pick. But what if stabbing yourself in the dick with an ice pick is the only way to fight, idk, climate change or whatever?

I finally got around to reading this. You should read it too.

"We are exporting the very labor of teaching and learning—the slow work of wrestling with ideas, the enduring of discomfort, doubt and confusion, the struggle of finding one’s own voice."

AI is Destroying the University and Learning Itself
Students use AI to write papers, professors use AI to grade them, degrees become meaningless, and tech companies make fortunes. Welcome to the death of higher education.

The meme culture of "here's another broken build your DM will HATE!" and the many stories about players making it their goal to play characters that break the game, is more than enough proof for the importance of tight balance in games like PF2e and its relatives.
I love when I explain how one of the reasons PF2e is so tightly balance is to to stop mechanical abuses, people are like 'who actually does that? Are you so untrusting of players you assume the worst of them by default?'

I'm just like...yes? Have you *MET* RPG players? #ttrpg #dnd #pathfinder2e

New rule: If you can look at a TTRPG table where everyone's having a good time and say "Uh, you're actually doing it wrong" or even "You're actually wrong about how much fun you're having", then I don't have to respect your opinions on game design.

A balanced DnD party usually something like: fighter, cleric, wizard, and rogue.

A balanced Pathfinder party could mean anything, like:
A skeleton that gets drunk.
Two Raccoons, but one is wearing a witch's hat.
An actual table, that becomes a person and knows Kung-Fu.
And a pumpkin...with a gun!

yeah this is child abuse sorry
Some parents are letting their kids talk to ChatGPT in the guise of characters. Some are using it to tell bedtime stories or create coloring books.

"My son thinks ChatGPT is the coolest train loving person in the world. The bar is set so high now I am never going to be able to compete with that.”
‘My son genuinely believed it was real’: Parents are letting little kids play with AI. Are they wrong?
Some believe AI can spark their child’s imagination through personalized stories and generative images. Scientists are wary of its affect on creativity
