folks from the UK & Ireland I'm doing Research please help—what are y'all's mythologised national identities?

i.e. Australians claim we're laidback, fair, & cheeky (which isn't untrue but is highly conditional in practice).

what equivalent claims would the English, Scots, Irish, etc make?

I will have to second Harvest, alongside Grand Guignol (both by Luke Jordan). Another must-read TTRPG I've found this year is Zephyr. Very evocative worldbuilding, with excellent writing that makes the reason for every introduced element clear. The text fits well alongside every art spread.

Harvest by @wildwoodsgames.bsky.social probably had the best writing in an RPG I read this year.

Facilitated Grand Guignol today, and man, I am so excited about the developments made on both Belonging Outside Belonging and Firebrands frameworks. Really, really good synthesis and improvement on each, imo, not to mention unavoidably, unapologetically queer

After a pause, we are once again accepting pitches for games.
If you've designed a TTRPG (especially one built on PbtA, Forged in the Dark, or Fate) that's near-complete, you can find details about how to pitch us (and the services we provide) here:

Harvest is a "beautiful cursed woodcut of a game" and Rascal writer Thomas Manuel's game of the year. GMless diceless period folk horror, it revolves around a golden paradise off Britain's coast preserved by generational ritual sacrifice, and which you'll choose: die for the island, or kill for it.

God Luke, we had such a great session of Harvest last week. The Wise One called the whole island together to 'forge the blade', with everyone pitching in a bit of metal from their homes. The voice of the last sacrifice sung out from the flames and the preacher Stranger was marked to hold the knife.
