The goal of #kubernetes was to establish an interface for cloud vendors to efficiently binpack customer workloads at scale.

It was never about simplifying infrastructure or creating a portable abstraction.

It is really cool to see a new secret store built on top of SPIFFE in a native way. This is a great way to show how a common production identity framework can make other things much simpler and automated.

There is a lot of block and tackle here but he core flow is surprisingly simple.
