I was extremely disappointed when @indivisible.org followed up #nokings with a call to divest from one shitty corporation. Happy to see they're setting their sights higher, and I think this program could make a huge positive difference.
We just launched the biggest primary program in Indivisible’s history. Help us (literally) send Schumer and the surrender caucus a message. open.substack.com/pub/ezralevi...

Wow, he's actually closer to single-payer healthcare than mainstream Dems have been...
Trump: "I am recommending to Senate Republicans that the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars currently being sent to money sucking Insurance Companies in order to save the bad Healthcare provided by ObamaCare, BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE SO THAT THEY CAN PURCHASE THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, HEALTHCARE."

@katmabu.bsky.social is doing this with her campaign, what other campaigns are trying similar things?
ah, perhaps instead of pumping millions into endless factional infighting Dem donors could invest in making local Dem organizations genuine civic spaces that can reach people during and between elections

billionaires have invested in media not because they support journalism but because they want to control it. there is only downside to a free press for people with that level of wealth. journalism is a great equalizer and they don’t want us to be equal.

This is not 'conventional wisdom' - this is a concerted PR campaign, and it unites Klein and Cuomo and all the other Dems and Neolibs who cherish their elite privileges above all else but aren't quite ready to go full Trumper MAGA Nazi.
There's also a weird conventional wisdom forming that the Democratic agenda is toxically unpopular and that Republicans are delivering what voters want.

This is laughably false. Trump is the most unpopular president in modern history and his entire agenda is underwater.

What if we picked some backwater national historic property like the Calvin Coolidge birthplace or something, told Trump 'this is the new White House, redecorate it', and then just let him have at it? He'd be happy, and while he's busy we can replace him with a non-fascist.

True to form, Trump's once again using the classic playground tactic of 'I know you are but what am I?' now that some Democrats are rightfully calling out his actions as treasonous. Also shoutout to the @citizensimpeachment.com treason article!
we're now a hair away from it being "treason" to utter a single critical syllable about Dear Leader on any topic whatsoever

It is what it looks like. It is what POTUS told generals it is, when he addressed them at Quantico. It’s a war. POTUS is levying war on US cities. He’s committing treason, defined in the Constitution

MoC need to say so. Draft Articles. Make the case. Write for the public & the military, not the GOP
Breaking news: Up to 23,500 National Guard troops are being trained for civil unrest missions in cities, an indication that the Trump administration’s effort to send military forces into urban centers could become the norm.

To all Democrats and other anti-Trumpers putting their faith in the 2026 Midterms to fix things - we are not going to have free and fair elections in 2026. Adjust your strategies accordingly.
I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.

This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.

Been thinking about this since the last #NoKings - and have a few different directions of answer...

One, @indivisible.org is not being aggressive enough in organizing an escalation. Their next step after record turnout and energy and engagement is to boycott Spotify.
Here's my basic question: Why aren't the Americans holding a No Kings rally every single weekend?
