Anyway. We are paying like hell for our car culture. Insurance, cars, car maintenance, road upkeep, the incessant road widening which SHOULD NEVER EVER HAPPEN AGAIN.
I do not want it. I want trains and public transit. I would GLADLY get rid of cars.

The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

since 2016 there’s been a huge backlash against things women like, women’s styles of communication, women’s jobs, and women themselves. if you think that had nothing to do with politics, or that it was all on the right, you’re at best deluding yourself
