At least 95% of the reactions I get to telling people I'm an actuary are variations on them not knowing what that word means (or assuming I'm an accountant, oddly?)
What’s the worst question someone can ask after you tell them your profession? For linguists, it’s definitely “how many languages do you speak?”, but I’m curious what else is happening to the rest of y’all out there?!

I do think it's funny that a school that has spent over 20 years gradually trying to make its team branding slightly less racist is mad that their head coach dragged drama out for a couple of weeks.
