The action escalates a campaign to use the U.S. military against Americans that has little modern precedent.

You are going to see a lot of people who don’t know what they’re talking about sharing opinions like they’re truth today. My advice is to take a break from the back and forth, avoid watching videos, and log off for a bit.
Appears person filmed being arrested is not a suspect and suspect is not in custody. CNN reports that University now says single shot came from a building 200 yards away. Certainly suggests an experienced marksman.
And now we're walking back the shooter being in custody

Gavin Newsom vetoed a data broker privacy bill that our legislature passed last year that would have allowed Californians to opt out of all data brokers with a single click.
The Minnesota shooter apparently used data broker websites to find the home addresses of the people he shot and murdered.

Congress has had years to do something about data brokers and they've sided with the tech lobby over and over again.

Their inaction is deadly.

Following the 2020 protests, the city enacted a municipal law that prohibits people from carrying a wide range of items during demonstrations. Be mindful of the items you carry every day (such as pepper spray) to a protest. Even if you don't use it, if arrested, they can cite you an extra charge
