If you've never quite “got” David Lynch but enjoy learning about cultural figures and artists, then I highly recommend the audiobooks for Room to Dream and Catching the Big Fish.

Room to Dream is memoir and Catching the Big Fish is philosophy and micro memoir.

The entry to the Mexican restaurant (Don Julio) in my hometown of Forest Lake MN that closed as a result of ICE has become a shrine. Two-thirds of voters in Forest Lake supported Trump in 2024.
