The state of Georgia is using the body of a brain-dead woman as an incubator. Because she was 9 weeks pregnant when she died, and their abortion ban is from about 6 weeks, they are sustaining her on life support, without input from her family, until 32 weeks of gestation. Despite knowing the people on the search warrant weren't there, the ICE arrest team STILL took this family's phones, laptops, and life savings — and refused to leave a BUSINESS CARD so they could ask to get it back!
This stuff is sadly not unique to ICE; it happens with regular police raids too.

This was why I was so hurt by the other autists in community who rushed to list their accolades and were quick to differentiate themselves from autists who are unable work and pay taxes. The way so many of our own community were saying “does he think we sit in corners and drool on ourselves.” 💔

Can confirm that my NSF grant "How False Beliefs Form & How to Correct Them" was cancelled today because it is "not in alignment with current NSF priorities" Shocking that understanding how people are misled by false information is now a forbidden topic.
