I wrote the captions on this video the night Osama Bin Laden was killed and it’s probably the most shared thing I ever created.

look at how little effort it takes for someone on the conservative grievance circuit to destroy a life

millions of college kids have half assed an assignment at the last minute, you eat the F and move on

but the effort to push trans people out of public life will use whatever it can get
Worth noting that the student admits that she just threw the thing together in 30 minutes without reading the paper she was supposed to be responding to.

kinda weird how liens are harder to enforce if you insist on being paid in a paper check and not direct deposit, and always go to the bank and cash it instead of ever letting money hit your bank account

real weird. definitely nobody do that. too weird.

I'm not the only person to have written it, and Parker in particular also did it well, but this was a lazy work the whole time. You can make a whole rancid career in the conservative politics biz just by knowing who you can get away with trying to hurt and then doing it. defector.com/the-conserva...

it would actually cost SO MUCH LESS to just do this instead of throwing trillions of dollars at technofascists too, who would've thought
they didn't need AI to make Silksong, it just needed some deeply insane guys to have a blank check for living expenses until their next thing was done, I think we should try doing more of that instead

The Olivia Nuzzi story and the Bari Weiss at CBS story are the same story, which is that the upper echelons of legacy media are absolutely rife with people who worship power and don't feel burdened by any sense of responsibility to their profession or the public.

The entire american "free speech" panic was about elites being criticized, which is why anyone who ever took it seriously should be ignored forever
Freedom of speech, in the liberal ideal, was about limiting the power of the elites.

Now, in this twisted form, it is about forcing us to listen to elites and silencing the masses.
Total gaslighting. Anti-trans activist; chooses to speak in person, provoking students who want to protect trans rights; they exercise their freedom of speech to tell her she isn't wanted; she gets to speak anyway; the BBC dutifully platforms her again; and now she threatens to sue everyone.

CBS paid the president of the United States millions in bribe money and now they censor news reports so it does not annoy him. I don’t know how much plainer we can put this.

Bari Weiss spiked the CECOT story because she wanted to have Stephen Miller included and demanded to control the language 60 Minutes used to describe the men who were brutally tortured after being sent to El Salvador without due process.

For Trump 1, one of the earliest lawbreaking things they did was have a large number of the electors from the electoral college illegally seated as electors due to holding multiple political positions. Pam bondi was one of the first illegal electors.
Landry rushed to clarify he isn't resigning as governor of Louisiana and this will be, like, his side gig I guess. The state constitution explicitly bans state officeholders from simultaneously holding any federal office.
Trump says he’s appointing Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry as “special envoy” to Greenland.

Landry has previously expressed support for Trump’s plan to invade Greenland.

I can *100% assure you* that if this report found that trans people & "wokeness" tanked the Harris campaign, the DNC would release it in a heartbeat
BREAKING: The Democratic National Committee will NOT release its long-awaited autopsy on Trump's 2024 win. The report is completed but Dem leaders decided it could distract from their winning streak, so it will remain secret. Not good.

That we need the files of a dead man to corroborate the reported trauma of over a thousand women - and that even those files need to be cartoonishly redacted - pretty much says everything about whose experience is considered real.

it is 'funny' that the question of 'why does everybody feel different about the economy than the way these graphs should indicate' never seems to account for 'a pandemic exposing thousands of people to our ramshackle and hyper expensive healthcare system AND killing many partners, roommates, etc'
