Fierté du territoire, des valeurs, puis : fierté tout court. Tout du long, sa campagne a été enthousiaste, motivée, joyeuse, pleine d'énergie : elle n'a pas mobilisé les émotions négatives que l'on retrouve beaucoup à gauche (colère, peur, amertume...), parce qu'on se sent souvent impuissants.

As a public librarian, helping Wal-Mart workers apply for benefits, and explaining that a “free W-2” was not a company benefit (in fact, it cost 20 cents to print out) was just part of working the reference desk.
The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.
