Wow, apparently UCPD arrested 4 people for felony vandalism for allegedly hanging up a cardboard bug and putting up posters. 3 are held on $20k bail, 1 on $10k bail.

How do
Republicans get away with calling it a “clean CR” with this non gov funding BS in it?

Sean Duffy’s been telling us for months that we have a critical shortage of air traffic controllers in this country which is causing serious safety issues in air travel, then Trump comes out today & calls them a bunch of traitors if they took a day off & encourages them to quit.

It's clear that Republicans have NEVER given a damn if lower income Americans could afford healthcare and they hate subsidies with a passion. I sure hope blue states figure out how to help their citizens, red state voters (regardless who they voted for) are screwed, their leaders will never help.
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

So if they sue will there be a discovery period that might end up making these traitors look even worse?
Look at this new outrage. To open govt, we're retroactively letting 8 Senators sue for $500K each over having had their J6 phone toll records looked at. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/10/u...

BREAKING: Judge Talwani will be issuing a second order — aside from the Rhode Island TRO — to "protect against the government's position" that the states suing over SNAP benefits are not "parties" to the R.I. litigation. It will be stayed to run concurrently w/ the R.I. order's current admin stay.

Judge Talwani is going to issue an order that protects the states from the USDA claiming they can't rely on the RI decision.

We'll see what else makes it in there.

This judge understands what MAGAs are trying to do here.

Even with possible re-opening of the govt, the USDA is insisting states not load 100% of SNAP benefits today. They need that leverage, and are fine starving people in order to cut SNAP even more.
Talwani: It's hard to see how this isn't just being used as leverage.

Becker starts to argue, Talwani cuts him off.

"Understood! But people are hungry right now!"

Talwani: Out of an abundance of caution, is there any reason that I should not issue an order essentially parallel to the RI one to make sure the states have the same protection.

Becker: We don't think that's necessary, we think that would add further confusion.

Talwani: Because I'm concerned.

Judge Talwani sounds fairly incandescent with rage.

Talwani: I get it, the memo didn't say "pay out full benefits," but it did say that you were complying with the judge's order. And there's no calculation needed to pay out full benefits- it happens every month.

For those wondering why I posted a thread about this last night, this is why.

There's a LOT of people who seem to think that either a) the entire ACA is ending or b) ALL of the ACA tax credits are expiring. NEITHER IS THE CASE.
Do all ACA subsidies expire or only the enhanced subsidies passed post-COVID expire on 12/31/25? Asking for my adult kids, who both get insurance from ACA.

Someone earning 150% FPL will go from paying 0% in premiums to 2.1%.

If they earn 200% FPL they'll go from paying 2% to 6.6%.

If they earn 300% FPL they'll go from paying 6% to 10%.

If they earn even $1 *over* 400% FPL, they'll have to pay FULL PRICE.

Heads up, there are a lot of accounts, jumping on this moment, telling people to leave the Democratic Party not to protest to just let fascism take over. Don’t engage just press not interested and block them if it’s really bad.

Yes, the caving was shameful. But again, there are only two solutions to all of this, & both require 15-20 Congressional Republicans to decide they care about the Republic more than power & party. No, it's not going to happen. That doesn't make it less true. These folks get free passes everyday.

This is true.

Poor Americans are never the priority.
It is wild, if not surprising I guess, that whether people could fly somewhere at Thanksgiving seemed to have more political effect than whether people could *eat* at Thanksgiving.

Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.

One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

THIS

They think Democratic voters cannot punish them for caving to Trump and assuring more Americans suffer while they keep their jobs. We must prove them wrong.
The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)
