Prepping year end & many cities are recording historic lows in murders in 2025. Through November, Detroit (fewest since 1964), Baltimore (1962), Philadelphia (1966), Oakland (1967), & San Francisco (likely since at least 1942). Additionally, New Orleans is on pace for the fewest murders since 1970.

In 1932 thousands of Emus were running rampant across Australia. In response they sent some WW1 vets with machine guns to handle the problem. The emus attacked the soldiers forcing them to abandon their weapons and run. It was dubbed the Great Emu War and humans lost.
