Idk I always think Lady Macbeth gets a bad rap, here. If your spouse wants you to murder someone, you could really easily say, “no, and don’t be weird.” Instead, he goes and does it. But I guess if he hadn’t, then the play would be short and boring.

I’d have a student try this in high school maybe once every couple of years and I’d catch it on the draft stage. But that was before The Trumpening, so all bets are off.
