Pediatrician, mom, radical progressive. Advocating for the health and wellbeing of all children. Basically the human equivalent of grumpy cat. Not enjoying fascism.
Not to be dramatic but some days Trader Joe’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups are the only thing holding me together as a human being.

This entire administration has such pick me energy and it’s so embarrassing.

Please get a flu vaccine. It’s not too late in the season. Your arm will be sore for a few days, which is infinitely better than being intubated in the ICU.

Somehow RFK Jr has pulled into the lead as the biggest threat to the wellbeing of Americans this week and WOW that is an accomplishment.
January 5, 2026 at 8:11 PM
We have, once again, not been mean enough to RFK Jr.
It’s official: RFK Jr has officially reduced recommended childhood vaccines from 17 to 11, removing universal vaccine recommendations for RSV, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, dengue and two types of bacterial meningitis.

This reckless contravention of science is going to kill people.

Alexa, play "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" by Taylor Swift.
WH sources say Venezuela's opposition leader committed the "ultimate sin": She accepted the Nobel Peace prize.

“If she had turned it down and said, ‘I can’t accept it because it’s Donald Trump’s,’ she’d be the president of Venezuela today,” one said.

It’s only January 3rd but I have a feeling the word of the year is going to be unconstitutional.

Trump going on national television and essentially saying that we just annexed Venezuela and are going to steal its most precious natural resource and will kidnap any Venezuelan leader who disagrees may be the craziest presidential address of my lifetime

The problem with the internet is that there’s not a meme strong enough for “I don’t want to go to war with fucking Venezuela.”

Tonight, the President of the United States has launched an unconstitutional war of aggression, dooming another generation to spill their blood for oil, and lay waste to a sovereign nation.

I demand that Congress exercise its power, halt this conflict, and impeach this war criminal president.

I’m not an adult doc but I suppose, based on the USPSTF recommendations and Trump proudly declaring he‘s chewing aspirin like tic tacs, that he has either significant heart disease/history of MI/history of stroke? Aren’t those the indications to start an adult >60 on ASA now? His legs would agree.

To anyone who still believes appeasing a tyrant works, I’ve taken my toddler to the park AND the zoo today and he’s still a hysterical rage monster so. A lesson to be learned there, I think.

“This year’s flu vaccine has proved an imperfect match to the currently circulating strains. New shots, based on mRNA technology, would have one day enabled us to avoid this kind of misfire. But the nation’s leaders have imperiled that future with the decisions they made this year.”

Look….. I know I’m an adult so it’s different…… but I feel like this year’s Christmas is the least Christmas-y I’ve ever experienced.

Personally, because of all of the horror we’ve had this year. But also commercially, I feel like even companies are phoning it in or not even acknowledging it.

My toddler woke me up at 5 am by singing We Are Never Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift at the top of his lungs. I’m confident my neighbors hate me and I’m so, so, so sorry.
