The Supreme Court denied the petition asking it to reconsider same-sex marriage. There was no noted dissent. This should not come as a surprise to anyone (and if you were surprised, perhaps reconsider your sources of court commentary).

Here at a Denny’s in Allentown, Pa., a salt-of-the-earth swing voter who is also the chair of the local Republican Party tells me he finally feels seen in this world now that his two lifelong grievances — offices for the First Lady, and ballrooms smaller than 90,000 square feet — are vanquished.

Couldn’t really tell you why I use the weather app as a catalog of cities I love and would theoretically like to live in, but it does help reinforce Barcelona’s case for No. 1 City.

It’s a perfectly nice place but it’s really a stretch to call the children’s museum here the *National” Children’s Museum, rather than the DC Children!’s Museum.

“Subways are good. In a subway you might get a mariachi show. In a subway you might fall in love. In a subway you might see a dog. A gateway to new places! A celebration of diversity! A communion with society! The subway, baby! A wonder of the world!”

I've been thinking similar things since the other morning when I was on the subway and I saw a guy clearly on drugs (he made it clear by saying so) in dockers and a gingham shirt telling two strangers that their baby was so beautiful it made him want to be a father.

There is an abundance of evidence that Timothee Chalamet is probably pretty cool, yet I simply do not — cannot — believe that to be true.

The part where a $400,000,0000 asset held by the Department of Defense would be transferred to an ex-president's personal foundation for free is the part that's supposed to make the deal *less* unethical
"Bondi's legal analysis also says it does not run afoul of the Constitution's prohibition on foreign gifts because the plane is not being given to an individual, but rather to the United States Air Force and, eventually, to the presidential library foundation, the sources said."

Take care of your body and your skin, and put money in your 401k if you have one. The twists and turns you’ll experience in work, love, etc will all be things you learn from, and there is value in the learning. But “it’s hard to lose weight at 40” isn’t an interesting or dynamic lesson—just avoid it
If you’re over 30, quote this with some life advice 🤌🏼
